NHPL Rules (EA NHL)
NHPL League Rules
Introduction
League rules are be based on fair play and respect for each other. Each owner will show respect for your opponents. Owners are expected to uphold principals of sportsmanship and fair play at all times and will refrain from running up the score. Communication will be polite and the use of offensive or abusive language will not be tolerated. Each owner will play fairly without the use of known glitches or cheats. Non-sportsmanship like behavior will result in your removal from the league. Head sets are required during game play. If owners do not respect the league and its rules you will be removed. Everyone is required to read the rules. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse.
Fair Play and Sportsmanship
Premier Gaming Leagues prides itself on being a site that places fair play and sportsmanship above all else. Fun comes first, winning second. Attempts by owners to circumvent the rules will result in your immediate removal from the league. Disrespectful talk is not permitted under any circumstances. If you find it necessary to show up your opponent you will be removed from the league.
All disagreements and disputes are to be handled in a professional manner, in private, and involve the owners and commissioners. Any public display of disrespect toward your opponent, either on the forums or leaguedaddy will result in your removal from the league
All owners will play within the spirit of the game. Running the same play over and over to take advantage of a flaw in the game is prohibited.
Above all, use common sense and play the game like it's meant to be played. If you follow those two guidelines, you won't have to worry about "cheese".

Scheduling
Scheduling games must be done using the NHPL scheduling thread on the forums. This is very important. Using Xbox live to schedule games is not acceptable. You must post in the contact thread to show that you are making an effort to schedule games. Again, very important!. If you are having difficulties scheduling a game let a commissioner know. If you will be unavailable for a period of time you must notify the commissioner and your opponents.
Season Schedules
Each team plays each other twice for a total of 34 games. The top 8 teams in the standings will qualify for the NHPL playoffs. The playoffs will consist of 3 game series with the higher seed getting an extra home game.
Disciplinary Actions
Those that do not complete games by the deadline need to file a DMR (Deadline Missed Report) with the commissioners within 24 hours of the deadline. So if the deadline is May 1st for example, the DMR is due by end of day May 2nd. The DMR needs to include the game missed and the reason for missing the deadline. Those that do not complete a DMR will be given a Yellow Card league infraction. DMR's need to be approved by the commissioners to avoid a league infraction. Accumulate 3 yellow cards and you will be given a Red Card league infraction and removed from the league. If you receive two consecutive yellow cards you will given a red card league infraction and removed from the league. The DMR can be found on the League Forms section of the league web site. 360 Premier Leagues reserves the right to remove owners immediately if a situation warrants such action.
Disconnects
In the event of a disconnect, the two players will get together and work out the best solution. Generally speaking, the idea is to best replicate the situation as it was before the disconnect. Obviously if there is a disconnect right after faceoff or early in a scoreless game, the two players can agree to just start over from the beginning.
